Family Board N Stay is a surf guesthouse located in Pringle Bay, South Africa — a hidden gem between mountains and ocean. We offer our guests a home far away from home, surrounded by nature and just steps away from everything you need.

Only a 5-minute walk to the charming town center with restaurants and shops, and just a 10-minute walk to the beach entrance along False Bay Road.

LOCATION

The little seaside village of Pringle Bay is one of the towns set within the natural beauty of the Kogelberg Biosphere.

Just a one-hour drive from Cape Town, along the scenic Whale Coast route between Gordon's Bay and Hermanus.

Situated at the foot of Hangklip, on the opposite side of False Bay from Cape Point.

Meet Benny, Pascale and Atea — a Belgian family who traded the fast European pace for the rhythm of the tides in Pringle Bay, South Africa. We followed our hearts to create a space that feels like home — for us, and for you.

At our guesthouse, we offer an optional vegan breakfast that can be orderded upon arrival for the following day. Our menu is thoughtfully crafted with seasonal ingredients, locally sourced products and made to nourish both body and soul from the earth.

I stayed in the cottage for about 10 days, and it was an unforgettable experience. The perfect blend of healthy food, great surf, and stunning natural surroundings. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The house is ideally located at the start of breathtaking hiking trails around Hangklip. When it comes to surfing, the hosts are more than happy to guide you to the best spots and provide all the gear you need. Wonderful people, cozy rooms, and an atmosphere that makes you never want to leave. I definitely recommend staying at Family Board 'n Stay.

This bed & breakfast is amazing! Owners Pascale & Benny welcome you with an open heart and make you feel immediately at home. They’re making their dream come true in Pringle Bay and it’s absolutely beautiful how they have turned the house into a cosy stay. It’s located close to the ocean and you have everything you need nearby. They love to help you plan your day trip (check out the penguins at Betty’s Bay) or just supporting you during your vacation. I really recommend this B&B!
